Great Products Deserve Great Representation.
West Coast brokerage, run by experience.
What we represent
Vantage Foods represents food and packaging manufacturers selling into West Coast distributors, operators, and converters. The firm specializes in two adjacent categories:
Foodservice specialty. Italian and pizza category roots — cheese, tomato, dough, oils, vinegars, cured meats, imported specialty. Selectively expanding into adjacent specialty categories where the operator and distributor relationships translate.
Industrial and packaging. Inputs into food manufacturing — oils, seasonings, breading, batter, ingredients. Plus corrugated packaging through the firm's West Coast representation of Ankutsan, one of the larger box manufacturers operating in the global market.
Primary territory: Northern California — operators, distributors, and regional chains across the Bay Area, Sacramento, Central Valley, and Coast.
Extended West Coast: Southern California, Oregon, Washington, Nevada, Arizona — depending on the principal's needs and category dynamics.
Distributor relationships: Active across the Bellissimo network, UniPro network, and independent regional distributors. Includes major players like Greco & Sons California, BiRite Foodservice, Tony's Fine Foods, Saladino's, and Lettieri & Co.
Industrial and operator accounts: Direct relationships with regional pizza chains, produce packers, food manufacturers, and specialty operators across the territory.
Territory and coverage
How brokerage engagements work
Terms: Standard industry structures — typically commission and retainer depending on category, with the right structure tailored to the manufacturer's volume, cost profile, and territory expectations.
Onboarding: A short discovery period to understand the line, pricing, supply chain, and existing distributor placements. From there, Vantage builds a 90-day territory plan and a target account list before activating outreach.
Reporting: Monthly summaries — pipeline, account activity, distributor placements, opportunities, blockers. No theater, no padded weekly recap emails. The information you actually need to manage the relationship.
Vantage is the right firm if:
You're a specialty or industrial manufacturer underrepresented on the West Coast.
Your current brokerage relationship isn't producing — or doesn't exist.
You want a representative who understands the category, the operator economics, and the distributor landscape without needing a six-month learning curve.
Vantage is not the right firm if you need a 50-state network, or volume-based commodity placement at the lowest possible commission. Different model entirely.
